The oneness of the universe, and the oneness of each element of the universe, repeat themselves to the crack of doom in the creative advance from creature to creature, each creature including in itself the whole of history and exemplifying the self-identity of things and their mutual diversities.

"In the inescapable flux, there is something that abides; in the overwhelming permanence, there is an element that escapes into flux.Permanence can be snatched only out of flux; and the passing moment can find its adequate intensity only by its submission to permanence."

It dwells upon the tender elements in the world, which slowly and in quietness operates by love; and it finds purpose in the present immediacy of a kingdom not of this world. "In this way God is completed by the individual, fluent satisfactions of finite fact, and the temporal occasions are completed by their everlasting union with their transformed selves, purged into conformation with the eternal order which is the final absolute 'wisdom.' The final summary can only be expressed in terms of a group ofantitheses, whose apparent self-contradictions depend on neglect of the diverse categories of existence. In each antithesis there is a shift of meaning which converts the opposition into a contrast.

the good creative work people do in life they continue there and they try to influence the living in numerous ways

I have spoken at length of this in previous Whitehead threads, so I if you wish to understand the Parmenidean position in detail, I suggest you browse the archive. In short, Whitehead did not address (whether out of negligence or inability to refute) the Eleatic observation of the coincidence of thought and being, and the resultant production of "virtual" time. The Whiteheadian doctrine simply can't compete.
