Les Mis.

>> No.1321123

I bought an abridged version of Les Miserables yesterday. How much of a terrible idea was that?

>> No.1321131

How long of a read is le mis? I want to read it but the book is due in early January. I want to make sure I have enough time to finish it. Not op, by the way.

>> No.1321135

I've not read Le Mis but I can tell you there are much more interesting communist literatures than the Manifesto. It's a nice start though. Get some Slavoj Zizek

I was in high school when I read it, but I believe it took a month or two. It was not the quickest read, but even 14-year old me could appreciate it. Anyway, it would probably take you less time if you have plenty of time to read, instead of working it around classes

>>1321137 That's what I was afraid of, the book is due January 3rd and I have to have enough time, to do it and write an essay. I guess it's back to the grindstone.

Hmm, yeah, could be tough
But totally worth a read someday
