That's mostly based on old Roman law, for example divorce is covered in detail despite Christianity fotbidding it. The real unusual factor is the death penalty for rape (something Muhammed also applied), forbidding women from marrying their rapists, but this is actually a departure from both Biblical and canon law, both of which said marriage should be the solution to rape.
