I use /lit/ to wean myself off other boards

/trv/ is nice. I like reading peoples travel stories and am planning a solo trip to Seoul later in the year.
I also enjoy /g/ purely for desktop threads, but overall find the elitism there borders on the absurd.
I used to like /sci/, but it feels like a bunch of LARPers there now, rather than STEM students.

It was weird going to /mu/ in 2014-2015 and seeing all the old board culture basically disappear. I was never a regular before then, but you could feel the population slowly replacing itself, and whatever old traditions didn't get picked up during this just died. Now, there's a weird feeling to it where they still post charts and make NMH threads, but it doesn't feel the same. I realize that's all subjective but I'm hoping at least one /mu/ oldfag is reading this so at least he could know what I mean here. It's like the guys there now just don't care about music.
