The only thing that really comes to mind is Houellebecq's works. There isn't one work that is the most like No Longer Human, but all of them have a certain key similarities. I suppose if I had to recommend one out of everything he wrote, it would be Whatever. As it has similar vibes and is also pretty short like No Longer Human.

That's good news. Just discovered Houellebecq and am moving on to Whatever next. Can't wait to feel completely deflated by reality once again.
