I've never even thought of this as a possibility.

I usually have 3 on the go but will make sure that the books are as far from each other in type so it makes it more interesting. Every other group of three will contain a non fiction book. I'll usually read something from each book per day starting with the hardest first or the non fiction so I get the best retention. So I'm currently reading a primer for the bible, then Silas Marner and then High Rise

Why would you ever read more than one at a time? You're not sitting there with LITERALLY two books open at once, are you?

Any time I could be reading, I go back to the book I'm reading. When I'm done, I go on to the next one. Seems simple to me.

I’m right there with you. I just know that many people prefer reading multiple books at a time. I believe that it’s more simple to just read books one by one. I only read multiple books at a time when learning about a certain subject.
