I know that you are trolling but anyway...
I'm not celebrating anything, I enjoy the aesthetics and such, just in the same way somebody might enjoy the aesthetics of fascism or communism. It does not tell you anything about my values or my moral integrity. Secondly, I think there is certain romanticism associated with people who think of themselves as warriors of God, fighting for the righteous cause, which is not necessarily captured in other works of art/genres etc.Thirdly, crusade has nothing to do with being white etc. There is a plenty of examples of non-white non-christian crusades, they just go under a different name...

Would you read a story inspired by pulp adventure fiction about an expedition that lands on a mysterious island of amazons and monsters akin to One Million Years BC, The Lost World, and The Land That Time Forgot?

Basically, the expedition is sorely under prepared for surviving the island(we have guns and professionals from many technical and scientific fields, the world is ours!) where everything seems to be beyond anything they've experienced or read about. Plants and animals defy laws of evolution and development, the women are more physically imposing than the men, the terrain is harsh and nonsensical, and they're pretty sure there's paranormal shit afoot, with magic and spirits and inexplicable happenings.

Now they must survive and ingratiate themselves with the towering natives(seven foot tall warrior women are not to be trifled with, especially when you have limited ammo and they have homefield advantage), while trying to repair their ship so they can get the fuck out of there.

Or does this sound boring? I just feel like we havent had a "let's explore a lost world" kind of story in ages.

“You had an arse full of farts that night, darling, and I fucked them out of you, big fat fellows, long windy ones, quick little merry cracks and a lot of tiny little naughty farties ending in a long gush from your hole. It is wonderful to fuck a farting woman when every fuck drives one out of her. I think I would know Nora’s fart anywhere. I think I could pick hers out in a roomful of farting women. It is a rather girlish noise not like the wet windy fart which I imagine fat wives have. It is sudden and dry and dirty like what a bold girl would let off in fun in a school dormitory at night. I hope Nora will let off no end of her farts in my face so that I may know their smell also.”

In your opinion. I still think that Kingkiller Chronicle is one of the most garbage pieces of literature that I got meme'd into reading. Literally the only positive I can give it is some of the worldbuilding. Everything else is just awful.

I feel like I'm actually going mad. I read this book as a kid and I remember very little of it but I'm dying to know what it was. Definitely fantasy.

I think it was set in a mine? There was something to do with a hot air balloon. There was a girl there who never wore any clothes because her skin was so sensitive but they have to take her somewhere so they make her clothes out of spider silk and I think they open some sort of portal at the end?

I know that seems like the ravings of a mad man but hopefully someone has read this book haha.

The Name Of The Wind was alright if I'm to be honest. A solid 6, maybe 7 out of 10. The Wise Man's Fear on the other hand was such an absolute disappointment, at most a 4/10. One of the worst sequels I've ever had the displeasure of reading, possibly only beaten out by Tower Lord, that was actually a legitimate 1/10 book. I literally only even remember ever reading that series because of how awful the sequel was.

Mysterious and magical. Without thinking to much about it I'd say Mists of Avalon have my favourite magic system. I generally like the idea that the world change depending on the beliefs of it's inhabitants as it means that magic is forced to be a part of the story and not just a plot point slapped on the book so it can be labeled fantasy.

I believe BRANDON SANDERSON has a foot fetish. My reason for believing this is because I have a foot fetish so I pick up on things most humans do not. Take for instance the ever shitty House of Cards. Now, I do not like this show (House of Cards) but I did sit through 4 seasons of that crap hoping it would get better, and in that time I noticed numerous examples of blatant foot fan service. It is a good fetish to pander to because it occupies a gray area due to the lack of nudity, which is why its perfect for a guy like BRANDON SANDERSON. Reading Mistborn, I can't help but notice how many times we are reminded of Vin's cute bare footedness. She's barefoot on the roof, toes clutching the edge. She's barefoot on cobblestone, only to walk on marble. Vin walked to his bed BAREFOOT, making no sound. Of course the obvious explanation (for the mundane majority of men) is that Vin is a Mistborn -- a thief -- and strives to remain quiet. She has to make lots of sacrifices due to the magneto magic of BRANDON SANDERSON'S world, such as never wearing toe rings or anklets (unless they are wooden or something) but I do not believe this is the sole reason for the foot prose on display in these books. The author (BRANDON SANDERSON) has fueled my spirit with his depiction of Vin. I have a hard time getting through the pages when I keep seeing examples of her beautiful foot-based dexterity, yet its these very passages that push me further on. I see visions of Vin toying with Elend, giving her man a royal footjob that any king would crave with her expertly trained toes. I think about Vin embarrassed, painting her toe nails to match her dress while Zane watches from the window. I think about her wearing glass slippers to show off her new feminine toes at the balls! Oh what a sight to behold! I am not even on the third book so I can't begin to imagine how much footy goodness is still to come. Anyway, these are my reasons for suspecting BRANDON SANDERSON has a foot fetish.

Nope, just now somewhere in book 8, so I'm not gonna read all your points for spoilers, every single red ajah so far has been portrayed as a villain though. I'm pretty sure the way the magic system works, Rand and some others having harems and almost every single female character who is dominant getting submissive when there's a dick she admires is involved is enough, there's plenty of individual examples but it's more just the tone of the series and some really obvious metaphors. Which is pretty cool as far as I'm concerned, I hate femdom that has submissive males, unless the series does a total 180 I'm just gonna continue to assume you're retarded. Sure there's a lot of back and forward which is what makes it interesting, if you want maledom 100% of the time stick to Gor or litrpg that you're probably into.

It took me close to the end of the book for what I read to start make sense. It was the first book I read where the author didn't hand hold you, and you found shit out like you would irl. By observing and paying attention.

I put the series on pause a few books later because I was swallowing them too close together, and was getting fried neurons. Came back to the series a few months later and just read them one after the other till book 10 (I would occasionally read a different series in between books). If I wasn't a completionist (then, I drop books and series now) I don't know if I would have done it. I see it as an accomplishment to finish because it exposes you to a wider range of writing styles, and allows you to make more educated guesses when it comes to finding books to read. You can't be well read if you haven't sampled a bit of everything.

>Daniel Black series
>literally a western version of a generic harem and kingdom building isekai with nothing but sluts instead of pure maidens
It feels like the author wants to go full cuckold sometimes but I still found myself quite immersed and entertained.

>>12613259
>Why aren't there more fantasy books focused on building like the Daniel Black books?
Good question. Even the Japanese web novels it's inspired by usually restrict themselves to recreating baths and weaponry while they let others build the bigger structures. In my experience, most western books just don't have magic that's powerful or abundant enough to actually do large-scale construction. Only cheat characters like Daniel or Vandalieu in Death Mage have the sort of mana capacity while still being in a situation that's precarious enough to require fortifications. Non-wizards and people who are on a quest usually don't have the luxury to casually build fortresses.

Personally, I hope that Daniel Black expands to high-tech magitek, other world/space exploration and terraforming. Same goes for Wild Wastes. Both series promise the protagonist unlimited lifespans and plenty of mana and they have horny dryads who seem to be made for spreading life through the universe.

Too bad that fantasy mostly limits itself to low power levels. Feel free to correct me.

It's one of the more popular isekai web novels and the translations are good enough that you can actually read it without cringing. Of course it still has lots of the typical elements that might turn you off about weeb/isekai novels. It's not really about magical engineering but the protagonist does create quite a few golems/possessed structures and objects.
