What forum should I go to if I want a forum like 4chan/reddit that is about egoism because I've noticed that egoists aren't welcome here. I'm looking for a place that is not completely serious.

I've read Ayn Rand and now I'm getting into Stirner. I imagine that I'll get into Nietzsche eventually.

I'm going to post a few pictures describing the aesthetic I'm looking for.

No but most of the criticisms of Rand are completely, 100% inaccurate. They have never read a book by Ayn Rand in their life. I have even noticed that higher-up intellectuals have committed this crime as well.

I watched a video a few weeks ago in which Sam Harris completely misinterpreted Ayn Rand. Christopher Hitchens gave a few witty remarks and then some fish mongerer titled the video "Christopher Hitchens destroys Ayn Rand." But that isn't too relevant.

It's unpleasant having to scroll through kids criticizing something that they've never read.

theyre oblivious and fuck them.
its trendy to hate this book and ive been really puzzled by that for a long time. people think its basically about being selfish and thats all that it is...no.

its about having class, quality, value, being responsible for yourself. basically telling people in 2018 that you are responsible for yourself is offensive to snowflakes barring the fact vast majority havent even read her stuff

If it's a criticism of the ideology, it is a poor one because there are major differences between the game and the actual philosophy.

Don't go any further and stop before you peak inside the rabbit-hole.
Stirnerists are an actual thing on twitter and other platforms and they are completely tumblerised. While I don't want to use tumbler as buzzword too lightly, it fits quite perfectly in this case. They are obsessed with matters like the whole trans-shabang and they throw labels on anything.
There is barely anything that goes beyond ironic remarks.

Read up books on the topic of egoism and make your own judgement.
This applies to egoism more than anything else in my opinion.

>not bound by petty morality
Whatever Andrew Ryan was; he was not an Objectivist. This is pure might makes right. Rand on the other hand stresses that might is to be subordinated to right. It is perfectly fine to further and augment might with right but only without contradicting it. Which means integration in an objective context.
Rand's revolutionary formulations in conceptual integration are what make Objectivism the first successfully formulated metaphilosophy in world history. In a hundred years it will be used as the baseline foundational referent for all postobjectivist philosophic thought. (If irrationalism doesn't wreck the world forever/for a very long time)
Don't take this to mean I consider Ayn Rand as the capstone to all philosophy. In fact I cannot conceive of what will be formulated once the truly earthshattering advances in artifical intelligence, matter replication, and transhuman technologies come.

>Rand on the other hand stresses that might is to be subordinated to right.

This is retarded. What is to do the subordinating? Oh right, might. Thus, might is to be subordinated to right via might - it can't be any other way. "Right" is when you've domesticated your subjects so thoroughly that they have internalized the threat of might.

Fear is not a stimulant. Only a depressant.
For Ayn Rand, politics is not a starting point in our thinking about man and society, but a conclusion that rests on deeper philosophical principles. Advocates of her philosophy of Objectivism, she writes, “are fighting for that philosophical base which capitalism did not have and without which it was doomed to perish.” At the foundation of a free society, Objectivism holds, is the metaphysical-epistemological principle that the individual survives by choosing to use his mind and the moral principle that the good is to pursue his self-interest and achieve his own happiness.
In her essay “Man’s Rights,” Rand explains why the widely misunderstood and often distorted concept of individual rights presupposes this philosophical foundation and is the key concept to creating a society consistent with man’s nature and the freedom he requires to live, think and flourish. In “The Nature of Government,” she explains why government is necessary to secure and protect the rights of the individual — and why government is legitimate only when this is its sole function.

You've heard and vaguely understood the western phrase "common sense" right?
What that really means is the simple application of Aristotlean logic. Aristotle is the father of logic itself, and the man whom you owe a thanks for literally everything in the world around you.
Rand's philosophy of Objectivism is the complex application of it and the great metaconceptual validation of Capitalism's morality.
That's as /layman/ as I can put it.
