A wonderful, stunning book. Arabic message to the peoples, it is explosive prose about God and man. You should try to read it immediately. Before sunset or sunrise. Changes are coming. Nietzsche dreamed of living among Muslims to sharpen his view of everything European. Nietzsche did not die, he went to the East. He is back. His book is Green.

I actually read this, he outlines his problems with democracy, communism, and theocracy, and says the natural system is one lead by a soveriegn who is legitimate by the people, yet maintains the natural faith and divests authority and economic gains to the people. He also is under the impression that you should fundamentally be profiting as a state. He embraces socialism for its anti colonialism, but states that communism is not beneficial to implement for the Arabs.

There's also a lot of eccentric statements that lead no where for statecraft. But there's an almost neoreaction feel to the book.

As opposed to Kim Jong Il, whose book outlines why Korea must be Nazbol with Juche.

He says democracy erodes everything and divides the nation, leaves it leaderless. But that dictatorships are cruel. (He did actually attempt to give people sovereignty, but confused it quite a lot, because he organized people into tribes, a sort of political autonomous unit who could vote on local issues and submit functionaries to Ghaddafi but it was up to Ghaddafi to listen.)

For "some" reason there is no data on Libyan GDP from 1960 to today from the world bank. But this should be taken into account I guess.

neither kim nor erdogan nor putin are evil, or dictators for that matter. "power hungry" is debatable, as all authoritative powers and institutions crave power, otherwise they wouldn't be authoritative.

Libya should have been Fezzan, Tripoltania and Cyrencia but Gaddafi did literally the best job running Libya in its entire history.

Geopolitics were against him for decades, and he still built a habitable country with a higher living standard than Greece or Albania.

Question, how are they power hungry and yet not expansionist when they are autocratic leaders? What exactly cements existing power structures to the hunger for power? Is Atlantic democracy good? If so, then why is it not power hungry?

Lybia was one of most corrupt and unfree countries of the world. Muh economic growth was due to good oil prices in early 2000's with petroleum industry being 80% of economy, even more than in Saudi Arabia. You westfags are insufferable with your love for obscure authoritarians.

Currently warlords control their block and the next, sell children as slaves and nobody can go to school, all refugee's now travel through libya since its a lawless state.

But when it had free education, wellfare, and high GDP it was the most 'unfree country'?

Sorry you are right, we should have invaded Libya and gave it either back to democratic Italy, democratic Israel, or even better let the people select a government on their own by popular vote. What? They voted for a theocracy? Well not to worry, we'll just either force a liberal shah or even better, a karzai, a man like him will surely fix Libya.

there is clearly no difference from Ghadaffi and Bokassa

Yes, he also wrote sci-fi

>Slightly more interesting (and almost a story) is Suicide of the Astronaut, in which a man visits the moon, finds nothing, and upon his return to earth discovers that his qualifications as a space explorer leave him, like an arts grad, unable to secure useful work. He commits suicide. Thus, Gaddafi seems to be stating that space exploration is, well, a load of bollocks.
