Last semester I had a class which put a focus on post-modernism and by prof said there could never be anything in literature after post-modernism. I think this is bullshit as there is an art, music, and cinima movement which warps nostalgia into something recognizable but alien at the same time. I think we're moving into post-post-modernism and I'm working on an essay about this but I need books to support my thesis. Halp pls.

DFW's New Sincerity™, Houellebecq's reactionary whatever-it-is, rupi kaur's neoliberal individualist social media feminism™™™, Ready Player One's faux-reflective nostalgia, the self-aware but still self-damaging bling-and-bitches hip-hop that gets put out by artists who regularly produce better work.

And whatever the fuck these ironic kitsch memes are.
