Land still hasn't realised his fundamental mistakes with respect to the causes of the Renaissance (or rather won't realise them, because that is one step removed from realising that capitalism is an epiphenomenon and accelerationism -- of any political persuasion -- is, consequentially, pure fiction), so that whole part of the discussion was incoherent and reaching (also, cringeworthy, especially the diversion into the importance of "0" to the development of mathematics and its relevance to the development of the Enlightenment).
