Yes, his autobiography is great. He started out as a dumb gangbanger motherfucker, insolent and stupid, he went to prison and encouraged himself to read, to learn and to speak more articulately while also finding motivation in religion. Unfortunately it was the Nation of Islam and later he comes to recognise that as a flawed system and finds peace within true Islam during his visit to Mecca.

Honestly, if you don't care for the race-relations and civil rights, that's fine, but the chapters on faith, inner-peace and acceptance that not everyone white was to blame for racism are pretty damn insightful.

Some of the Kennedy papers indicted MLK as such - and also of being slow witted. I would like to see any actual debates which would tend to disprove his slow-wittedness if he were able to provide immediate, solid counters.
