He got his start as a crusader against what was considered the over-reach of PC culture. As far as society fucking you, pointing fingers at this is almost omnipresent, especially since 2008 though it goes back so much further. Occupy was only 6 or 7 years ago. The 2016 presidential election was all about two clashing interpretations of how society was fucking average people. Jordan Peterson gives an interpretation too, but he isn't special for it, and he gets criticized for his interpretation being retarded. If the idea is that there are no alternatives to JP, there are plenty. He is just a meme man at the moment, and his time is probably almost up.
