Okay. I'll accept that.

Other than that series (and series by the same author, notably Monster), I only like a few other manga series (Negima, RK, lucifer and biscuit hammer, mirai nikki) . I truly prefer literature

How is that series "Flight"? I've seen it at a local bookstore, and having only read Watchmen and V For Vendetta as graphic novels, was wondering if it was any good/should I check it out.

And Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged are still enjoyable books, hence I have them. I've got plenty of objectionable material by /lit/'s retarded standards.

Very light on writing (many of the short stories are without dialogue) but it is a fantastic series. I have really enjoyed all of the books and some of the particular stories that span several books are truly excellent.

If you are interested in a series with good writing I'd go with Sandman, or if you want something off the beaten path try Queen & Country.

ah, alright. i've read atlas shrugged before, it's not that bad for fiction but the philosophy is mildly disturbing. i took the GRE last year, kinda' wish i had a study book because some of the math problems threw me for a curve but i still scored pretty well on it. way easier than the MCAT, it only took a few hours.. i've been told that the MCAT is like 8-10 hours long and you have to take it more or less in one shot. fuck that

MCAT is *only* 7 hours long now. I just helped my friend study which was fun enough but my masochism drew the line at actually sitting through the exam.

I did really well on the GRE but bombed the writing which has kinda left me nervous about all the writing my grad program entails.

>>1091156
Frankly I don't think I've seen the word Everworld without "fuck yeah" or "holy shit" in the same sentence. Yes it is badass series and I really need to reread it. I also got the soundtrack to it when they were giving it away.

I was bored so i figured what the hell, the shelves are rearranged to make taking the picture easier. The japanese ones are the first book of haruhi, spice and wolf, shakugan no shana and Kure-nai; in case they can't be read. I have everything that has been released for each of them but was too lazy to take another pic of my manga bookshelf, and looking back i missed a couple LN one-shots but whatever.

I'm slowly working on a real lit collection but it takes so long ;_;

He's good at worldbuilding and memorable characters, as well as presenting ideas you never really come across in fantasy - eugenics, racism, police state surveillance, resource depletion. He's NOT so good at prose - and occasionally you come across paragraphs that would have got the whole book thrown on the slush pile had they been on page one.

There are three 'separate' Three Worlds series, but they best make sense read from earliest to latest. The whole thing is one epic family drama intermeshed with with phoney war conspiracies across parallel worlds
