Interesting concept, and there might be some truth behind it, but I've done a lot of research in regards to my political beliefs and also have the valuable experience in having had more leftist views once upon a time, but many of those views have changed. I am still pro-LGBT, but adding more letters/symbols is retarded and I'm not going to use bullshit non-binary pronouns except for maybe attack helicopter because that's pretty badass. I used to be VERY pro-immigration but the rampant increase in sexual assault and terrorism is clear as day in Europe and even here in Canada. I'm still as pro-gun as ever so that's a stance that's unlikely to change anytime soon, and I don't see Trump as racist/sexist/homophobic because I go by 'innocent until proven guilty', if the left can provide proof of these accusations then I will consider them.

I've watched many hours of Trudeau speaking in Parliament, and find myself to be consistently disappointed. There was maybe once or twice where I witnessed him seeming to have a decent point, but it's always buried under mountains of shit and question-dodging. Western culture with a foundation of Christianity has lead to the development of a civilization so advanced that there has likely never been such freedom and equality ever seen before in human history, yet in the Middle East with their foundation of Islam there is still widespread oppression of women, murdering of homosexuals as well as apostates who leave Islam, and the violence inherent in the Quran (of which I've read quite a bit of) seems to have caused centuries upon centuries of conflict reaching right back to the death of pedophilic Prophet Muhammad over 1300 years ago. The Crusades in all likelihood NEVER would have happened if not for all the warfare perpetuated by Muslims for 300+ years during and after Muhammad's death.

I've also tried to have an honest to God conversation with anti-Semites from /pol/, to try and see things from their perspective, to hear their views, to try and understand where they're coming from. I've been red-pilled on how cancerous Islam is to the west, I've done my own research and intend on doing more with an open mind, so would the Jew-hatred stand up to scrutiny? I did my best to be fair, I asked questions, I explained where I was still confused to try and help them clear up such confusions, but it had been fruitless.

There are probably some out there who don't think for themselves and just want to be 'edgy' so adopt Conservative views, but there are many Trump supporters out there who largely understand the state of the world, and their vote was earnest and well-thought. I just finished watching a live speech frmo Trump just a couple hours ago and having been following politics closely for the past year I truly do think he has the welfare of the American people at heart, and truly wishes to make America great again. That's more than I can say about Justin Trudeau in terms of his views on Canadians.

Immigration doesn't increase crime in the US, in fact immigrants are less likely to commit violent crimes than a born citizen. I don't know about Canada and the EU has some obvious vetting problems, but so much of the backlash against immigration is based on the availability bias of what the news wants to cover, whether a conservative platform with an agenda or one more to the left that nonetheless seeks ratings or clicks.

As for LEGAL immigrants who have gone to America and did not simply continue to stay after their Visa expired (which would of course make them illegal) then yes, they should be causing less crime on average than born citizens. They should be vetted closely, and result in immigrants even earning more money than the typical white American average. After all, Asian Americans make more than white Americans.

Mass immigration in America has only gotten to the point it is now since sometime in the 1960s, I think specifically 1967 when some sort of legislation was passed. Before the 1960s, only the best of the best could immigrate into America. The educated, perhaps even already wealthy, those who know English, and those who cherish American values of individual freedom and liberty. Immigrants SHOULD cause less violent crime than born American citizens, America has her own issues to deal with. ALL nations have murderers and rapists. The important thing is to keep OTHER murderers and rapists from entering. Building a wall is one step, I believe that wall is coming, and if Trump blesses America with a second term I believe he will take further steps. Last I heard, the Supreme Court was moving the travel ban along so hopefully that is soon implemented to prevent immigrants from coming from all those Islamic countries that Obama pointed out as being problematic.

I think if an immigrant makes even a MINOR legal infraction while temporarily living in the United States, then serious consideration should be given to sending them RIGHT back where they came from.

Perhaps they will seek an education, seek promotion, or simply seek employment elsewhere. Maybe they'd prefer to climb the ranks in a fast food chain instead of harvesting crops on a farm.

The welfare state is a problem that must be addressed, and you CANNOT have both a welfare state and open borders. You can give consideration to one or the other if you really want, but to allow both would be a HUGE blow to the economy. Also, average salary would rise if the untaxed below-minimum-wage jobs that illegals are illegally given were done away with. Let's assume for a moment, however, that people would prefer to live on the street than to go to work in those jobs, so the US simply must maintain the welfare state or else deal with rampant homelessness. Very unfortunate, but let's just assume this for a second, alright, bring back the unskilled and uneducated illegals but through legal means and with immigration officials that basically act as probation officers. Occasionally phoning in, occasional searches, etc. If all goes well, they're sent back to their country along with everyone else for a new batch but the good ones will be allowed back in more easily. Anyone who causes even the slightest bit of trouble, they cannot return. They're foreign workers, unskilled and uneducated ones at that, so don't just let them in and have them run free.
