I have a wife and read more now than I ever did.

I would read even more if I had one, I would focus on how to create a healthy relationship troughout the years without making it becoming boring and would try avoiding fights, but I would also try to convince her to accept my views such as educating our children in the countryside and becoming a full time housewife. I would also read a lot about how to educate our children to make they become successful when they grow up, but without being extremely strict with them and leaving some space for fun and happiness in their childhood.

Man, having a family must be nice...

I would read a lot more since one of the main reasons to even leave the house would be gone.

Because contrary to popular opinion on this board, women have their own goals, desires and wills. They might be influenced by you if you're passionate enough about something but not in all ways. I've had a few girlfriends who've tried to get into books and movies just because they know I like them but they haven't ceded to stronger beliefs because they're not cardboard cut-outs.

Only one time in my life I had a gf who actually complained to me about reading instead of spending time with her (we were in the same place, just me reading instead of cuddling her). I broke up with her on the spot because it weirded me out the level of neediness, not necessarily because I felt my reading time being in danger.

It's like "would you stop eating if you had a gf?" well, no, because you eat to stay alive. A better question would be, would you try to resist the influence of a partner in your reading habits, or accept the new things?
Like, if you go out with a vegan, do you oppose her, do you accept it, or do you stay neutral to it?
Or if she's fatter or thinner than you, would you adjust your diet or hers? etc.

Same with reading, would you read what she reads too, would you make her read what you like, or would you just continue without involving her in your reading habits?

Maybe 90% is hyperbole, but let's say 25% attend church (which according to that study, there many countries way above that number). If a city has 1M people, then 250k people attend church regularly. That's absolutely high, and would indicate that religion is the ideological status quo. I can't see how being religious in a country with over 25% serious church attendance could be considered rebellious. Assuming that poster is american, it's sort of weird. I'd understand the rebellious point in those countries with low attendance like Germany and Norway, but I'm gonna keep assuming he's american due to probability of someone being 'murican on the western side of the internet.

I don’t really waste my time desu. I search for hashtags related to humanities or my uni on Instagram and message them. That, or I go to my uni’s bar. This way I make sure we’re at least vaguely interested in the same things. I take them to readings, museums, exhibitions and /lit/ places I wanna see, so I’m covered even if we don’t fuck.
