One thing that makes me wonder is how international it is. Good greentexts come from multiple countries and cultures writing in English. I think the simplicity of the language (the present tense is very simple to learn and use), short, straightforward phrasing and stock, prepackaged expressions (be me, [image].[extension], etc) are especially accessible to people who don't necessarily have full fluency of English

Another is flexibility of genres. It can be all types of fiction, autobiographical, poetic, parody, political, narrative, historical, criticism, summation...
It's very short form, though.
