You think I never made threads about books and authors before? I just like to shitpost feom time to time and the fact that everybody gets so riled up about it makes me even more inclined to do so. I love /lit/, I love literature, but most of all I love shitposting.

Instead of using your energy to create a better thread you create this bullshit meta thread. It's easier to condem threads then make your own.
Really this board is just to hang out with the more pretentious and '''''intellectual'''' side of 4chan, and people have fun here. It's filled with antagonisms and anons grabbing eachother by the throat. It takes effort to write a high effort post and it takes effort to engage with high effort posts. Most people come here to escape and communicate, but often despise other boards. So they come here and use thinly veiled literature threads to provoke a response, usually it's just to make people laugh or upset, sometimes just to vent their feelings. Is it really that bad?
I know that there are some hyper autistic people here that would want this place to become more serious and talk about 'deep' philosophy and 'deep' literature, these guys are boring as hell and need to be shot.
