No. The labor movement destroyed itself in the 50's and 60's when it started colluding with capital. Unions accepted a submissive role and agreed to the wage system, outside ownership of means of production, and craft unionism where workers are separated by trade and position, trading any hope of real systemic progress for increased wages and temporary material comfort.

Now that craft unionism has destroyed worker solidarity, capital can divide and conquer in any conflict with labor. If Walmart shuts down a store because the workers formed a union, will the railway unions act in solidarity and refuse to deliver to their stores? If Ford lays off their workers and moves a factory to China, will the dockworkers refuse to unload Ford cars from the cargo ships? Of course not. And so any time capital wants more of the pie, they can squash their isolated workers with ease. The only solution is solidarity between all proletariat across industry.
