I'm struggling to stop reading and do my math homework for a test I have the next week.

How exactly do you go about proving one who believes in absolute moral precepts wrong? They keep bringing up the points of how relativism contradicts first principles, and how subjectivity uses the fallacy of equivocation to claim what is good, bad, and ugly.

So I ask you, how does one go about intellectually beating one?

The /lit/ one for example, defined all the other boards as a book, /lit/ defined itself as 'the confederacy of dunces', /b/ as fight club, /fit/ as 'sun and steel' by mishima; etc...

the reason half of /lit/ dislike this book is
the same reason why /tv/ hates TBBT (which is not the best tv show ever made, but certainly not deserve the amount of hate it gets constantly): the main character is a slightly exaggerated version of themselves, and neckbeards have NO humor when it comes to their little self.

No wonder plenty /lit/izens don't like the book. They are actually kind of offended by it, because the main character relate so much to their life. They can't take it. They don't laugh cause they are littles ignacius, and usually this book seal their pyloric valve quite fast.

But don't be fooled, this is a great book. read it slowly and enjoy it, cause unfortunately there will never be a second tome.
