People are more concerned with 'winning' debates than discussing ideas. It makes people put their guard up and impossible to change opinions. It's all wasted breath.

There are people outside clapping for the NHS. The memes have penetrated reality.

There are no books I'm interested in. All history boils down to social issues. All fiction feels unenjoyable and pointless, and like I'm reading someone's barely disguised memoirs.

Any recommendations?

If a book is about anything important then it feels pointless to read it because I should be doing worthwhile producerbull activity instead.
