I’ve been sick with a feverish cold for the past week. Moving is painful. I miss swimming so much I feel like I want to die. More than reading and writing it’s the only thing that fills me with sheer joy, the utter weightlessness and freedom of it, the peaceful quiet you hear underwater. When I’m in the water I feel like I can fly, that I am both cradled and forced to be strong. The creatures that live underwater enchant me. What are some books for this feeling?
