I just read Chernow's bio of Rockefeller. Rockefeller's daughter complained of many nervous disorders. She went to see Jung in Switzerland. He didn't want to take her case because of his animus against her father. He eventually did. (You can overcome a lot of animus if you're the daughter of the world's richest man.). The daughter bought him a mansion in Geneva to use as his nstitute. Jung declared her not only cured but made her one of his therapists. This despite the fact that her agoraphobia had developed to such an extent that she rarely left her hotel room.....Jungian therapy seems to have profoundly benefited Jung, but can anyone here point to a patient who was actually cured by his therapy?
