I'm a few pages in, but sadly not much has been said yet. I'll read on, as I like Zizek.

That said, I'm really bored by now of the materialism, or, to be more specific, the use of economic terms to discuss everything. Zizek adopts the same language as almost everybody who talks about incels, and in particuar they themselves. He uses a Marxian language to describe what the incels (among others) call the sexual marketplace and he goes from there, opening up the capital liberalism-communism dichotomy. That's boring and so - to answer your question - I can't quite believe that this would be the best analysis.

I understand Feminist book reception, but what does Marxist book critique of general (not politically inclined) books look like?
