I agree, freewill is a fetishization of the arbitrary, that being choice, and anybody that seriously believes it past a tacit assumption will ultimately make it the center of their worldview. Hey /lit/, I need help finding a book.

It's a young adult fictional novel that was released in the early 2000s. It's about a man who gets paid to keep people's deep dark secrets in a journal. It's set in a kind of old english world. I know that isn't much to go off of, but I appreciate any help
