What's the best way to find free online books? Is it still #ebooks on IRC or are there better alternative?

I have one thousand and one problems in my life and being a virgin isn't one of them.

What is the best way to journal and write down misc notes according to /lit/?

I'm torn between using a physical notebook and using a computer/phone app. The physical one feels more satisfying and sticks in your memory more, but the app takes less time to use since typing is faster than writing, and you can really easily search for stuff you wrote, and also easily tag certain things.
