Kane is based, but what do you think about, let's say, the dark souls universe ?

>>13527052
I guess I'm writing nobledark, since it's about a bad person becoming better through his adventures

The fact that I actually take the time to parse out the ideas and write in defense of every single point i make, and to react to all of yours i think its proof enough of who here is the most authentic.

>Take progress as a given.
I've written practically two whole fucking paragraphs on this so far and you're going to sum that up as a "given".

I take it as a fucking given that NOT DYING IS A GOOD THING.

>Anecdotal evidence
Holy fuck are you actually contesting the reality of technologically enabled operations? Of vaccination and all our many other developments?

FOR FUCKS SAKE YOU CAN EVEN DEFINE SHIT LIKE LANGUAGE, FIRE AND MAP MAKING AS "TECHNOLOGY".

You didn't even try to address my points. I can't even fucking tell who's a marxist and who's a troll anymore.

Is it your opinion that its better to keep the standard of living, mortality, and life expectancy low so that we can live sustainably? Because there's no other option. You can't accept increases in life quality without accepting that -at that new pace- population will grow exponentially out of control.

And at that point we'd need more efficient technology, higher crop yield, better transportation to go to far flung cities, etc. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
