remember when sci-fi used to be about discovering new places, using technology to better people's lives, solving issues with diplomacy, and making friends along the way?
Now it's just always space terrorists, space traitors with doomsday weapons, faceless ethically-unquestionable hordes that kill everyone, people choking to death in the cold careless empiness of space, corrupt mega-corporations selling humans into slavery and/or death, war against evil empires,
fuck my life does anyone have any light hearted semi-hard sci-fi?
