What are some rare and forbidden tombs?

I want books that are dangerous and hard to acquire. Have you ever hiked cross country to Bhutanese village at the base of a mountain after hearing rumors of ancient scrolls kept in an underground temple?

Have you ever broken the hand of a man in a seedy bar on the outskirts of Vegas for refusing to hand over the an unpublished Kafka novel you did dark deeds on his behalf to acquire?

Can anyone suggest the most honest translations and versions of 1) religious texts such as the Bible, Talmud, Quran and all related texts, 2) books on philosophy, and 3) controversial authors and their books that have influenced social and political movements (Fascism, Communism, etc.) or other interesting controversial content.

I am looking for mostly unbiased, informative, and honest approaches to the above such readings. I hope some anons can assist me in my pursuit of knowledge and book collecting. T-thanks.
