>Should i stop eating good food because good taste is by definition hedonistic? Should i cut off my penis since i have no use for it anyways (remember, sex=BAD!), because i sometimes cum in my sleep due to wet dreams and it feels really good. So where is the line?
You are taken extreme measures in your example, but let's work with them. Jesus was clear that no one was good but God, at the end of the day we are flawed as human beings, only through Christ sin can be clean. As flawed men our conduct is flawed but The Word of God and his actions are not, to recognize sin and avoiding it is the fist step, and to conduct your life through a meaning path is for the ascension of your soul, this is not about a material conception, but a metaphysic conception of good.

Jesus is The Messiah and the one that forgives and judges, that will always be clear.
With that said, if someone says something stupid like defending someone with an anime picture of a garbage interpretation of a famous paladin from a famous book, and consider that the Holy Spirit is speaking through that person, I will call him a faggot.
I don't deny that the Holy Spirit can and talks through us, but your implication The Holy Spirit is speaking through that person makes me want to gag and seems to me as a denigration to God.

Does anyone have a fondness for flat-earth/biblical cosmology. I don't believe the Earth is flat despite being a "conspiracy" guy but there is something charming about it. In the Odyssey the underworld is located at the edge of the world, and in Gilgamesh too there are much mysterious things there such as a massive underground cavern and the Mesopotamian "Noah." The idea that the Earth is a disc is a spit in the face to modern "physics" and an assertion of the magical, if the traditional laws of gravity are null than so too is the denial of the occult, it is the realm of the gods and magic. I often use this motif in my own writing, even if just as an euphemism. The modern view of existence as an
infinite" realm has it's own pros, however in the infinite paradoxically God is lost. We can run from God, but not in the realm of the flat Earth in which the world is his "terrarium." I also like how writers like McCarthy use the word "firmament" and other Biblical words, it takes a non-magical setting, such as the modern or western world, and sets it against an astral backdrop, though it is modern it takes place in the same realm where Noah's ark was built and Moses parted the red sea. It is almost as if asserting it is apart of some metaphysical tradition, and not a sterile modern rejection of the past beliefs, yet not staying locked into the past but continuing this belief into the future. Thoughts?
