I agree. Hamlet might be my favorite work of literature to be (or not to be) honest famalam. Tfw played the ghost in a production in college.

I read the Lattimore (and Greene?) translation iirc. Seemed a little basic to me but it was a good time. Tfw played Aegisthus in another production in college.

Holy shit I was so gay.

"And if we spirits have offended;
think on this, and all is mended:

You could just be tripping here,
and all of this is just dream's sphere.

And if I'm a dishonest Puck,
behold - my barren fields of fuck."

Does this fat fuck have his own last name carved into his little purse thing he rests his plump (as if it were made of butter) face? What a fucking megalomaniac psycho! Also look at those stubby mongoloid fingers. If you amputated them you could use them as javelins. Measure them. MEASURE THEM!

every lazy loser who has done nothing of note considers himself to be an intellectual...
>I-im smart...IM A GENIUS ITS JUST THAT I HAVENT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVEAL MY TALENTS
Were you smart you would have made opportunities for yourself even if there were none offered to you. But, alas, you're just another underachieving loser without discipline or willpower (sings of LOW IQ). Enjoy trying to grapple with the cognitive dissonance of your perceived so called "GENIUS" and your quality of life. I'd pay good money to see your mental breakdowns when you fail to hold up the facade.

Does every language have a piece of great literature that high schoolers are forced to study, but it's too difficult (usually because of older language) for most of them and they end up hating it? Obviously for English it's Shakespeare, and I'm led to believe that Don Quixote, Faust and Tolstoy are similar. I assume The Divine Comedy or at least Inferno would be too. If I got it wrong for your language correct me, if your mother tongue is a language I haven't mentioned, what's your language's equivalent?

I'd recite a poem inspired by her beauty, of course:

Pearl atop marble, this lass
Are you not venus in flesh?
But certainly, "a heavenly angel" is too crass,
Nor do the waves of your beauty crest

In the sea of silk
Flows the bronze tide
Curlicued over the chest of a goddess
The curves of which my eyes now ride

Far to the horizon of eternity,
Does your gaze reach
Into my soul, beholden with infirmity,
I'll say forever, take me once more into your breach!

O, did I ever tell you, my good man
The definition of insanity?
It is to do the same infernal thing
Again, again, again, again, again
Expecting shit to change. That is crazy.

The question is for how long can you go

While speaking in iambs times five in verse?

We cannot hope for this and rhyme,

So do not try if it will make it worse.

There's nothing I learned in a novel that I was ever able to apply in real life for myself. All of the material is pure fantasy and it makes sense once you realize nearly all famous writers were asocial autists

Now nonfiction on the otter hand...
