Its a meta blanket term that describes the unforeseen consequences of capital run amok. Some examples might include:
The way its adapting humans into economic units minmaxxed for value extraction.
Or how we dig up precious metals only to throw them into a landfill a few months later as the product is obsolesced.
Self-exploitation sold to us as 'freedom'.
The commodification of everything, even old politics and history is repackaged to be consumed or reenacted or as some kind of aesthetic
The way it can morph our desires even when we can clearly see through its deception.
The feedback loop of the commodification of its own critiques, and the primary goal of capital being using capital to make more capital.
Its some kind of hyper-entity at this point. The money isn't even real anymore, its a symbolic offering to our temples.
Not to mention the poverty that it enables and the people it grinds to dust as acceptable sacrifices.
