I can't believe he has kids. I wonder what kind of cruel narcissism could lead one to make the choice of passing on an hereditary set of characteristics identifiable as an ASD to their own children.

I'm not going to bother listing the classics, though I'll say that Anselm and Aquinas are dear to my heart. Apart from that...
>Marx for his breakdown of capitalism.
>Arendt for her understanding of geopolitics and political movements.
>Kolakowski for his work on Marxism.
>Adorno for waking me up from the Anglo positivist fairy tale.
>Bakker for his theory of heuristic neglect.

Nice trips. And out of books? Probably Middle-Earth. I guess if we're going beyond that TES might count - even if the lore is all over the place it's far more interesting than what most of the retards in this place consider good worldbuilding, as evidenced above.
I can just imagine what kind of half-human troglodyte with constant spittle dribbling from his fat fucking mouth would sit down and write Malazan or Wheel of Time for deep or good anything with their pudgy fingers, eager to put another Cheeto or Dorito or whatever the fuck it is Americans eat into their disgusting mouths.

>swamps apartment, bursting walls like lovecraftian nightmare
>blackened corn floods the streets
>passerby fall into stupefied, bewildered horror, hemhorraging blood as alien kernels grow out of their eyes
>from the dark and twisted mind of nick land comes xeno-snax: can what is popping you make it to level-2

He does though. Obviously he doesn't talk about them much on his blog, that wouldn't be very safe.
