Is fagles the best translation of the iliad and the Odyssey? I'm looking to get into Greek literature

Is there no better feeling than beginning to understand someone's ontology? It's like you finally understand the framework for all that is.

How do you think we should refer to things that don't exist, like Sherlock Holmes? Do you think that we should refer to them as unactualized possibles? Do you think that our ontological commitment should be like Russel's descriptions, in that names are in reference to descriptions and that we should logically write them up as things we don't have to be committed to in reality?

I have a question. In Plotinus's works, he makes it clear that the One is both the most simple and the most prior of all things. He then explains that that which follows the One is a multitude and is complex in that way. I understand that Intellect follows the One, but is the multitude an aspect of Intellect (meaning that it is the only thing that immediately follows the One,) or does another thing (Life, for example) exist at the same as Intellect? I Imagine two mixtures following one ingredient. I don't know if what I am asking makes sense or if I am understanding the concept properly.
