Stories are just Stories, They dont need to have a lesson, Moral or anything like that in them. You can build your story around a message but your story can literally be about anything you want. That's the point of a story.
Anyone who tells you different is a complete hack that needs to force their own personal morals and ethics into their story to make it even seem interesting.
