Actually OP here. I like the topic because almost nothing else causes such unfathomable levels of butthurt from so many people. Also because it can't really be "proven" or "disproven" because it's basically a subjective opinion. As much as I like the autistic shit-flinging that antinatalism threads inevitably bring, I actually do want to flesh out my opinion on the topic because currently I am kind of flirting with the idea that having kids is basically you saying "I'm going to make you alive because I think I want to look after you.
