Basically Reagan was the first so-called "libertarian" president but he also initiated the very first bank bailout (because it's inconceivable that a bank should fail, right?) and also managed Iran-Contra, the infinite negative unintended consequences of these events we are still having to deal with.

Yeah and anyway now the libertarian movement is getting coopted by racists who think the message of libertarianism is that you should get to say "nigger" and live in a majority white country, even though whites lost their edge in the fucking 1950s and everyone hates you when you're rude (which has been the reality forever.)

Why does he cherry-pick all the positives of free markets, but never addresses any negatives? I found this book to be incredibly disingenuous.
