This is the propaganda and indoctrination I was referring to. I would wager anything you've never actually been to China or really engaged with Chinse culture, everything you know about them is the second hand result of western resentment and fear originally cultivated for political ends but manifested for you in the 'epic memes' you regurgitate on the internet.
Forgive me for making the joke but, the west are very jaundiced when it comes to China. I had a trip to Shenzhen for 6 weeks, it was a wonderful place (in particular I was in awe of how clean it was compared to American cities) and I can assure you Chinese culture and humanity are quite in tact, not that you're capable of considering this let alone accepting it.
>tfw had better discussions of Greek philosophy in Chinese than in English
The topic of translation was very rich, pic related is a very liberal translation even reinterpretation of Aristotle's words, but unironically it would conform better to this sentiment if you tried to translate it into Mandarin. But from Greek to English to Mandarin? Now that is something. That's in essence how you get your understanding of China as the average American.

I have to agree with everything I read? Sorry, I'm not acc.
Within his worldview he is quite correct, and much better than acc nonsense or anything else from the Left.
