>they have magical transmutation
Sure but fabrials are still something in active development.

>be used by another lord to get to a battle before you
That's a big reason why each 'army' has their own shields, yeah.

Bands of Mourning is already written; was written at the same time he wrote Shadows of Self, so yes. That's the only book for January.

>There’s a good chance I won’t hold to this, but just so you know, here’s how I view my upcoming novel release schedule (not including any novellas or short stories that may or may not appear during moments when I need to do something new):

January 2016: Wax and Wayne 3
February 2016: Reckoners 3 (final book)
June 2016: Alcatraz 5
Sometime 2017: Stormlight 3
Sometime 2017: Rithmatist 2
Spring 2018: New YA project 1
Fall 2018: Wax and Wayne 4 (final book)
Sometime 2019: Stormlight 4
Sometime 2019: New YA project 2
Sometime 2020: Elantris 2
Sometime 2020 New YA project 3 (final book)

So was Echopraxia worth reading? Or should I pretend it doesn't exist?

The Shrike was modeled after Kassad and das it mane. Simmons doesn't bother explaining half of the major plot points, and the few that are have extremely half-assed explanations because he's fucking lazy.

This. Revelation Space was the first hard sci-fi series I've read and it's set my standards so high now. Way too good.

I expect nothing else with a comment like that. Enjoy your colossal pile of loose ends and major plot points left unexplained, all with a forced and ridiculous romance plot because Simmons is a lazy author.

To the guy who wanted the Cosmere images that I have: https://imgur.com/a/UkOUn

Sorry it took so long. Procrastination is a bitch.

Yes. The middle kind of slows down a bit with the pacing and events but overall, the series turns out to be rather solid and the story is tied up nicely with no loose ends.
