>A sci-fi horror novel about the most mysterious arcade game ever made. Two friends travel to an arcade in downtown Chicago, which they suspect may contain a haunted arcade machine from urban legends- Polybius. Unknown horrors await them, as they inch ever closer to the truth behind the sinister arcade game.
Part of a series of interconnected horror novels that can be read in any order. Each book serves as a stand alone story, yet builds a greater picture behind a dark mystery in Chicago.

I’m unironically going to start reading F Gardner. You guys have gotten me really curious. Should I start with this of Call of the Crocodile?

Bamboozeled barely begins to describe it. It’s the weirdest book I’ve ever read and it’s not even a contest.

And no. I haven’t read Call of the Crocodile yet. Just this one. But dammit I am tempted to because of how fucking ridiculous this was especially due to the “twist” I kept seeing shilled here.

>Gardner's crap is like a child doing crayon drawings and thinking they're an artist.

Have you seen the covers of his books? They aren't "like" a child's crayon drawings, they literally are a child's crayon drawings

Memes aside i actually enjoyed Call of the Arcade a lot. The guys talking about the twists stuff aren’t kidding. I’ve read a couple of them and this was my favorite of the lot.

checked, and completely true. If my copy of Call of the Arcade wasn't digital, I would use it's pages as toilet paper.

He's the review and a summary I did of the book. It's not even worth pirating:

I only read Call of the Arcade, and I read it from front to back and can tell you it's unredeemable trash. The "twists" are just ridiculous asspulls that come out of no where. And that's ignoring how bad the writing, exposition, dialogue, and characterization is done

You're either Faggot Garnder himself, a shill, or a genuine retard if you think his writing is acceptable. Because I have a had time believing that Croc is much better than arcade
