If you are comically exaggerated in your belief you end up alone and alienated. Alive but alone, may not be worth it. Walk the middle path and be quasi-manic but also functioning well to enjoy family ties and memories with friends. Find love but know you should never be content, make a family but know if the battle comes you MUST take arms as payment for your comfort.

All in all, we are just living to enjoy a pointless existence, after some manic phases, I have lied to myself to continue my path, as I know all thoughts/desires are nil until the alien interplanetary conflict calls our children to the forefront, literal fighting for continued existence against an unfathomably different antagonist. Until then, we all live vaguely different but mostly the same lives.
