Why do people love Nietzsche so much? He seems to be one of the most popular philosophers (if not the most) even though some of his shit was just plain retarded.

He was terribly intolerant and thought weak people were unnecessary and therefore shouldn't exist - for him, being compassionate with them was wrong and the world was made to harbor übermensch only.

That kind of thinking seems to fit very well with social darwinism.

He was also a misogynist.
Quoted directly from his book: "Woman's love involves injustice and blindness against everything that she does not love... Woman is not yet capable of friendship: women are still cats and birds. Or at best cows."

So, yeah. Why praise for this guy?
