That's an interesting word, but not what I'm looking for. In my description, I'd be responding to someone who states something that is undoubtedly true, but some of the integrity of the statement is lost because of how it was said/presented to me. The person who made the statement thinks that how they present the information won't influence how I'm supposed to digest the truth. But really, it does influence me somewhat for the worse.

You know, years ago, I went over to Denmark for a few days to stay in an animation workhouse because my uncle was doing a voice for a cartoon. I was only 15yo, and one night I'm sleeping in a small room on a mattress on the floor. I decide to sneak up to see what the adults are doing upstairs. I quietly snuck up and peered in to watch - they were smoking and drinking. One of them spotted me and I bolted back down. I pretended to be asleep downstairs, when a woman turned on the light and stood at the door frame. She was drunk as shit, and apparently had a knife in a 'I'm gonna' get you' jokey-way. She stood there saying "A woman with a knife - a man's worst enemy", saying things I didn't understand at age 15. She left after a while, but here's the point; she must have thought that she was outside of the thing she was jokily criticizing. She thought that they way she spoke of the issue of sexism was exempt from the problem at hand - that the way you approach to tackle a problem doesn't carry any more weight than how the problem exists currently. You know? It annoys me how she saw me as her enemy when I was only 15, and that she felt that she hadn't done anything wrong, because her addressing of it isn't supposed to latch onto the thing that already exists. She could have acted in any way she wished, because it doesn't influence the thing at hand.
