>another Sunday night, another "Andean Sampler" hosted by the esteemed Mr. Ellis. All of us here, we've made it, havent we? Shoes and celly checked at the door, and then the teak and vines and ornamental wood and strange fireplaces, Mr. Ellis somehow had a subtle fog system integrated into some rooms to loft snaky tentacular mists required to complete many of the upper floor's rooms. There were waterfalls and apparently hired bathers who sudsed and rinsed themselves twice and hour, as must have been contractually obligatory. Does anyone ever, like maybe an uppity mixed race peer of Ellis' millenial and "very Jewish" boyfriend, ever refer to Mr. Ellis as just "Easton Ellis" or go one further and commence there in the throes of ecstatic wine, cheese and cocaine tittered mirths a singsongy play upon Ellis' rather personal sequence of "e's?" How many e-e derived nicknames and nonsensical alliterations would one need to issue before Mr. Ellis would depart his conviviality and by way of his response, summon venous neck and forehead blazings to the visible alarm of the pillowy-lipped Hammam bait rushing to his side with a glass of water and a maternally vexed brow weighing his eye line, why no more than five minutes in that environment, I'd imagine, maybe fifteen if there's a decent din, no more than fifteen minutes of "easy-e" and "emiction extrusion" and "Eddy the Elephant" after which one toots an elephatine trumpeting to stay consistent with the other pachyderm references still in the minds of the party guests who even if they are nonverbally disengaged in the performance are nonetheless competing attentionally with the important work being done here and implicitly understand sometimes the host of these shindigs may actually enjoy something like this just as coaches enjoy being doused in icy Gatorade. As always the roasties congregate about the chocolate fountain and loiter for the next canapes from the exotic wandering waiters, which Ellis has masterfully directed to help corral and contain the roasties and so protect decent and good conversation from their Jezebelry. I've always thought of Bret East Ellis wine and coke hootenannies as cultural preserves, like if Teddy Roosevelt was more fond of wit and eloquence than rutting ungulates and yonic geysers, you'd have a Bret Easton Ellis, thereabouts. Here you could be free to say almost anything, so long as it was good.

Easton Ellis is on record for preferring white wines. Anyone know which varietals, vintages? Are there guys butt-fucking in the open, like by the oysters Rockefeller?
