Needed something whispering in my ear at work to kill the time. Poking through the torrents in the couple minutes I had at break and settled on it because I couldn't find anything more appealing. Figured if it was too bad I could it off and be bored.

I ended up legit liking it quite a bit.

Intelligent beings are merely nodes in god's mind. He knows all, but only through your knowledge and experience. The creation of knowledge is good and it's destruction is evil. Overpopulation is a desirable state as it creates more processing power for god. Even things like torture and pleasure are good in that it increases the knowledge of such things, however tormented individuals must be kept alive so their knowledge won't die with them. Books and such are good things as they help preserve knowledge but it must be known by an intelligent being for it to be of real use to god. This god never actually communicates with his disciples and he rarely manifests any actual miracles but his disciples are keen to look for them regardless often attributing rather benign things as proof of their gods existence and power. It is often difficult to understand why some of the more profound miracles are manifested but one thing is certain, those who profane the cathedral of knowledge and try to pass off knowingly false understandings come to rather humorous and unexpected deaths. This religion is responsible for much of the science in the world and has a middling interest in spying and criminals investigations if only to avoid the the loss of the knowledge of such events when those involved die. They have a charitable arm that provides the barest necessities of life to people in exchange for memorizing tables of data from absolutely inane things like 500 year old weather reports recorded by a ships steward. Practitioners shave the sides of their heads but wear a top knot, no one really knows why.
