Why has no one told me that reading this and Zarathustra upon finishing it is all you need to understand Nietzsche?

why is it always Nietzsche? His more enjoyable works tend to be his more obtuse (Thus Spoke Zarathustra), while is more important works tend to be drier (The Genealogy of Morals). maybe try something like pic related or even just Beyond Good and Evil.

Ditch that edition of Beyond Good and Evil and upgrade to the chad Basic Writings of Nietzsche.

Despite having read a sampling of Marx, Descartes, Plato, Hegel, Baudrillard, and myriad other canonical philosophers, I've still never read Friedrich Nietzsche. Is pic related a decent introduction? Also, why does this cover look more like Lenin than Nietzsche?

>“I’m going to start reading Friedrich Neechy, Kneechuh....? I can never pronounce his name correctly, but anyway he was the guy who said that really bold, controversial quote that “God is Dead”; I ordered all of his books and I can’t wait!”

>*8 months later*

>“Niechev? Oh yeah, I’ve only finished two of his books; his writing is brutal, man.”

What kind of person do you imagine?
