Honestly, while Jordan may have been terrible at moving the story forward and just about anything else, nothing comes close to pic related.

Any novel where the character is evil but not an edgelord and neither a middle aged serial killer? Are there are works that describe a character that develops for the worst (i.e. Is innocent before but then becomes evil after getting a taste of the world)?

I'm about 60 pages into this. Does the book get better later/is there more of a story later on?
