Does anyone know any books based around the paranormal/occult/mythological creatures?

I want sort of episodic books, e.g. investigating a different demon/creature every book. Sort of like the x-files but in book form.

18 yo. meme philosopher with a minor in STEM (memeoscience) here.

I've been reading your board frequently lately and since I know most of you are amemetic charlatans, I've decided to step in and correct your material. Reminder that since I have a degree in meme philosophy and also a minor in memeoscience you must take my credentials as superior to yours and therefore as binding.

Here are your errors that you will need to remedy after reading this post:

I love N. Gaiman, and I think he's amazing, but he's not too intellectual. He's not political, or super philosophical. He's like the modern J.R.R. Tolkien without the massive world-building and less angst about England. So yeah, if Gaiman is the epitome of my taste, then my taste is shit because he's entry level.
