Sort of related but is their a word for purposefully misusing a word to gaslight people into making false associations?
Example
>Saving -> spending money on something that is cheaper than usual

I really don't care if you don't want to have kids, as long as you don't care about other people having them. I really can't stop you from being a sorry sack of shit that thinks life is worse than having never existed, but I think life is pretty neat and I'm glad to be alive. Experience is subjective, my life experience has been a net positive so far, and I choose to believe that my child will enjoy life on a similar order of magnitude as me.

The world is deterministic in nature from a higher level, but as people we should act as if we have free will. Its actually a good thing that we are not operating at that higher level so we can enjoy the illusion of free will.

This imagining of reality makes downstream moral and philosophical decisions much easier. Its actually a really comfy way of viewing reality since your past self can be explained away, but your future self is still for you to decide.

>Be imitators of me, as I am an imitator of Christ.
Christ never did or encouraged anything like that account from Francis's life. Neither did Paul. Francis may have been sincere, but he let his passions rule him.

>They tend to be spooked by his stigmata, and thus are inclined to think of him uncharitably.
His visions, and how he pursued them, are more suspect than his stigmata (which in itself is suspect). Compare the life of Francis to lives of earlier saints that we share, to their experiences with God. It's right to be wary of people who seek after ecstatic sensual experiences. Let's say Francis was sincere and his experiences were holy. It would still be incredibly dangerous for people to model their spiritual lives after him.

>That doesn't mean you have to enjoy art for its political messages.
You're correct.
>This is also enveloping way more in the "political" sphere than is logical.
Maybe.
>If emotions are apolitical to you
Did I say this?
>and you feel it necessary to label them as such then the ideology has consumed you,

Which ideology? Everyone is consumed by ideology. Being apolitical is itself an ideology. It is merely opposed to acknowledging or dealing with the far-reaching consequences and implications of one's lifestyle.

>not necessarily the people who are driven by just their emotions.

Emotions are political. Diplomacy, for instance, is often granted or denied based on the emotional stance of the host.

My point is that the concern for beauty, art, and so on hasn't disappeared or been buried under the concern for the political, rather it has been synthesized with the concern for the political.

It's still a work in progress. It's for my sex novel.

--She unzips my pants, and my flaccid footlong unfurls upon her face. "Ooh yes, you like that dontcha?" I mutter. "No, it's not thick enough, this won't work!" This bitch proclaims. She must not know who I am. Maximillian Thor'us is the name, and many thots have been slain for insulting my girth. She is no different. The fingers on my left and right hands fuse together, giving me two blade like appendages. Neato. Time to get to work.

*Various metallic friction noises* suddenly ring into the air. Heh, tough luck thot.
