Sure, it's hundreds of years in the future. But it's pulpy, greasy, grisly, and noir as fuck.
The show pales in comparison. Morgan is a great noir author

I finished this the other day and I enjoyed it, should I continue with the trilogy? The next one seems like military sci-fi and that's not really what I signed up for.

This book is fucking terrible. This is my second "cyberpunk" (which this barely qualifies as) book after Snowcrash. If this is really the best the sub-genre has to offer I fear for it.
